coffee is good for you

I just read an article that said one or two cups of coffee a day will help your blood pressure. Evidently, it will keep your arteries more elastic.

My thought was, YES! Good News! And if two cups help, how much more elastic will my arteries be if I have several, along with some espresso.

When my grandfather had a stroke back in the early 1960’s, his mind kind of went sideways. His thinking got a little convoluted.

He was supposed to eat healthier: not many sweets, other stuff he couldn’t have. I can’t remember it all since it was a while back. But he wanted them. So he worked out a method.

Cake was bad for him, but cottage cheese was good for him. So therefore, if he put cottage cheese on his cake, it made the cake good for him. The mixture of the two cancelled each other out.

He was also supposed to have fruit. He liked strawberries. So therefore, if he had strawberry cake, that was a good for him. And if he put cottage cheese on it, he did himself a massive favor by eating it. After he was through, he felt healthier than before.

Since he was my grandfather and I always considered him a good role model – a hard worker, good husband and father – I decided to adopt that approach when I read this article.

It makes sense to me. If  you do not agree with me, you are probably a coffeephobe.

You are welcome to say anything you want as long as it is nice. If I don't like it, or it is ugly, I will take it off, place it into the garbage disposal, grind it up, and allow it to be flushed into the Gulf of Mexico where it will be eaten by a fish and then excreted where it will lie on the bottom of the ocean until it is covered up by other comments.
