the anti-abortion display at the university today

As I was at the University today, there was a graphic anti-abortion display. It had pictures of aborted babies at different age levels from 5 weeks to older. They were 15 feet high and visible from a long ways off.

They were also very unpleasant.

There was an odd thing added to it. A little booth at the side of the display asked if we thought this graphic a display is a good or bad thing. I do not know what they will do with the results, as I figure they will keep on.

I believe that abortion is a scourge of our generation. More have died from abortion than our wars. Someone at a church once asked all of the young people between certain ages to please stand. When they did, he said these are the survivors. So many others had died at the hands of abortionists.

However, the confrontational aspect of the displays was unpleasant to the extreme, even though I am a staunch foe of abortion of any kind at all. I did not like them

The students probably did not care if I did. They had their agenda. I am not saying it is a bad one or that I do not agree with it. But it was done badly. It is kind of like the preacher standing on a little box on the street corner hollering at people who walk by. Or the anti-alcohol people going into stores and smashing all of the bottles.

There are ways to do things and ways to not do them. The displays on campus were not the way to do them.

You are welcome to say anything you want as long as it is nice. If I don't like it, or it is ugly, I will take it off, place it into the garbage disposal, grind it up, and allow it to be flushed into the Gulf of Mexico where it will be eaten by a fish and then excreted where it will lie on the bottom of the ocean until it is covered up by other comments.
